My work combines technical precision with a distinct artistic vision. My visual language has developed through years of experience on set, drawing inspiration from cinematographers such as Vittorio Storaro and Janusz Kamiński. I use light, contrast, colour and camera movement to give each story its own atmosphere and emotional perspective. My work has earned 14 international awards.

My credits include 22 films, 30 short films, more than 90 commercials, approximately 53 television programmes and seasons, and around 20 fiction and scripted productions. My documentary work amounts to approximately 270 documentaries, counting standalone works and episodes of documentary series.

I have worked on six seasons of Primo appuntamento / First Dates, The Train of Wishes.

I have worked on documentary series such as Viaggio nella grande bellezza, Stargate, Sfera, Blu notte, Atlantide and three cycles of Freedom – Oltre il confine.
The short film Punto di vista, which I photographed, won Best Fiction Short Film at the 2015 Giffoni Film Festival and was selected to compete for an Academy Award. My short film High Hopes won a Music Award. The Player, which I directed and photographed, received several international awards, including awards for its cinematography. My cinematography on Frank and Ava and Vetro has also been recognised at festivals in Los Angeles and Tokyo.
